Pammy Udubonch – Aqua Rapha Mbaka

Pammy Udubonch - Aqua Rapha Mbaka | Umu Udubonch music

Aqua Rapha Mbaka is a vibrant cultural dance song that pays tribute to the sacramentals of Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka and his Adoration Ministry in Enugu, Nigeria. This spirited piece was crafted by Pammy Udubonch led by Okwy Nwamba, a gifted Enugu-born cultural dance troupe.

Afamefuna Aneke founded the Pammy Udu Bonch Cultural Music Group, a dynamic ensemble consisting of over ten members. This group quickly gained popularity across West Africa, known for their robust and enchanting performances that highlighted the rich cultural heritage of the region. Sadly, on December 28, 2006, the music world mourned the loss of this cultural icon.

In the wake of Aneke’s passing, the members of Pammy Udu Bonch Cultural Music Group honored his legacy by continuing their musical journey under the name Umu Udubonch, which translates to “sons of Udubonch.” This new formation stands as a testament to Aneke’s enduring influence and the group’s dedication to preserving and advancing the cultural music traditions he championed. Aqua Rapha Mbaka remains a symbol of this ongoing legacy, celebrating the spiritual and cultural richness of Enugu through its captivating rhythms and heartfelt homage.
