Dede One Day (Peter Onwuzurike Onyehidelam) was a native of Umuagwuru Mbieri in Imo State but was born and raised in Aba, a town in Abia State, Nigeria. His career hit the spotlight upon the subsequent release of his Laugh With Me comedy series. He was a talented comedian, actor and singer. Dede One Day died on December 14th 2015 after he slumped while performing on a show in Aba.

Mr Ibu (John Okafor), a popular Nollywood actor, died on March 2, 2024, at the age of 62, in Lekki, Lagos. He passed away from cardiac arrest after battling an illness since 2023. Mr. Ibu’s death was mourned by industry colleagues and fans across Nigeria.
