Rev. Patrick Obasi, popularly known as Patty Obassey, was a Nigerian gospel recording artist. Regarded as one of the early pioneers of Igbo christian music, Patty Obasi rose to prominence in 1980 upon the release of his album Nwa Mama Iwota.

Rev Patty obasi passed away on the 16th of October 2012 after battling with Kidney failure.
